THE LILAC ZONE (Now being updated again!)

This open-pollinated seedling was found growing within another documented cultivar at Highland Park in 2025. Producing large florets with white near the eyes and large petals that tended to curve backwards as they aged, the blooms were very striking and made me curious as to what a larger specimen full of these blooms would look like. Working with my connections, I have been able to obtain a division of this specimen and have it planted out for further observation. I look forward to watching it grow and assessing whether it is worthy of further replication. I tentatively am calling it "Highland Surprise".
